Expressive art

Expressive Art is a holistic healing technique that uses the Arts as its basis for self-exploration, understanding, acceptance, and healing.

All 5 disciplines of the arts can be used to foster personal growth, insight, and healing; for my sessions and courses, we focus mainly on the visual art of painting, mark-making, and collage for participants to experience the full embodiment of their creativity and expression.

 

With Expressive Art, the process of creation and acknowledging the feelings that arise are more important than the final art product. Expressive Art enables us to bring our subconscious forward into our awareness, allowing the opportunity for self-exploration and understanding.

 

The sessions are conducted alongside personal growth coaching with each participant working through their own individual issues.
